Prevention education is vital to overcoming the damaging cycle of domestic violence. DVI wants to provide the most current and comprehensive information to schools on family violence, interpersonal and dating violence, and bullying.

For Students

Your school can request a presentation on all or any of these topics and our Public Education coordinator will design an age appropriate presentation that is engaging and informative for any class size. Using interactive tools, quizzes, and group activities, students learn what domestic/interpersonal violence means, how it affects them and how they can protect themselves and break the cycle of violence in their lives.

For Faculty and Staff

Training for school personnel in recognizing and responding to children who are victims of domestic violence is also available. We can provide in-school presentations for staff meetings or in-service days or school professionals can contact DVI directly to enroll in one of the 45 hours domestic violence training sessions.

No fees are charged for any presentation or training. For more information on any of these programs, please call the Public Education Coordinator at 717-273-7154 or send us an email using the contact form.
